The rapper GZA plays the entire classic album Liquid Swords with the veteran funk band Lettuce at Brooklyn Steel on Feb. 7. 

Singer, songwriter, guitarist, and drummer Katherine Paul is Black Belt Eagle Scout, who celebrates her Swinomish heritage in her music. She plays on Feb. 6 at David Rubinstein Atrium.  

American-born, UK-based folk fiddler, multi-instrumentalist, and singer Sam Amidon plays Feb. 6 at Public Records. 

On February 5, Opera Lafayette and OperaCréole present Edmond Dede's "Morgiane", lost for 138 years, in New York, at Jazz At Lincoln Center’s Rose Hall.
