Over the course of the 2015-16 academic year, The Takeaway presents an original series offering a unique look at community colleges across the United States. Community colleges are key to growing our economy and expanding opportunity, but less than 1 in 5 students at community colleges today will earn a bachelor’s degree. The Takeaway's "Community College Challenge" puts a spotlight on the rich diversity of community colleges, the role they play in advancing opportunity, and the myriad challenges they and their students face. Support for this series was provided by The Joyce Foundation.
